SciDev.net reports today on our recent Science review. Unfortunately space didn't allow for the importance of environmental and devlopmental manipulations to get a shout out. In a sense the story highlights the challenge to communicate that Applied Evolutionary Biology is much more than genetic engineering and gene sequencing, methods that may be perceived as more high tech and therefore more interesting for journalists and readers.
